does anyone turn off the in motion green light switch after locking in on there signal when stayin a week or 2 in a certain spot or will it lose the signal, also whats the white switch for that's near it says in out on it not the raise up tv antenna or the awning or the inverters there is a white about 4 inch panel that says in out 1 and 2 on it

Nope...at least with Dish. To get all the Dish channels, including HD, Dish uses 110, 119, and 129 satellites and the controller switches between them.
