My guess is for the DEF heater. I don't know where it is, but I read there's a heater for the fluid somewhere. I guess it's possible it could be a DEF pump fuse??

Good thing to know. I read in the Cummins manual there are 16 DEF sensors that can cause problems. Good thing to know about the fuse to check first if a DEF code is thrown.

I have a 2015 Aspire and can't figure out what the inline fuse, above the DEF tank, is for. Anyone know? Thanks for any ideas.
Dave
In Sept we had to pull off the road because warning horns and lights went off. Called Spartan and gave them the codes and it turned out to be the defective def tank heater. Got to Rocky Mountain Cummins in Billings and they did the tests and the heater did fail. They sent a new one from Spartan and it turned out to be this long stick thingy that drops into the def tank from the top. The big cap at the top is part of the long stick that I found out has all the sensors and the heater mounted on it. The dealer said they replace quite a few and said they are fairly fragile, no matter what brand semi or mh they see.
