I had tyron bands put on my Anthem

Dont know if you ever had a blow out on a coach but my inside rear probably the best one to blow. blew out and did $10,000 worth of damag plus tire and tow add'l

Blow outs are nasty nasty things, can imagine a front tire blow out.

So now that we have some folks out there with the new Rettrobands installed and have put some miles on them, do you notice any difference in the way the coach handles or reacts to bumps and potholes?

We have them on our 18 London Aire with Spartan K-3 Chassis and found no difference in handling, ride and turning. Smooth ride with no balancing issues.

No differences at all. Even the tire temperatures remained the same with the RettroBands as before. Upcoming article with full details will be in Family RVing early next year.

Excellent. Thank you for the real world reviews. I'm looking forward to getting a set installed at the end of the month in Lawrenceville.

I was worried about the same thing. Had mine installed in Vegas a couple weeks ago, now I'm near Chicago. In that time I've not noticed any difference in handling. Only advice I have is to check your tire pressures after they are installed because they most likely won't be where you want them.

I’m getting them too

Just got a price quote for my 2 front tires for the Rettrobands from the Atlanta facility.

$3145.00 for the pair, $340.00 for installation. My tire size is 295.80.22.5

Will purchase next month. Salesman said they are selling like hot cakes, who knows. Can’t seem to find any info re whether they will be represented at the Tampa Supershow with maybe a discount? If any body hears anything re upcoming discounts, let us all know.
And thanks to all who have posted info on these products, helping me make my decision.
Last year we were driving our bus just outside Tampa. An open bed semi, loaded with all kinds of metal junk parts, pulled next to me to pass on my left. Next thing I knew a fireball opened up when his right front tire blew just as he was even with us. We could feel the heat from the fire. As we were changing lanes to get away from him (he was swerving toward us), he suddenly flipped on his side. Some guys on the other side of the jersey wall in the oncoming traffic climbed over the wall and pulled him out of the burning cab. Miraculously he survived. We pulled over on down the road, shaking like crazy. It was only then that we discovered that something very hard had flown off his truck when he flipped, and left a hole/indention in the driver windshield, right in front of where my forehead was. If it had come through the glass and hit me there, well, I don’t know what could have happened, but I’ve always imagined the worse.
Since this happened, I am genuinely spooked about blowouts. It’s even to the point where I have found myself avoiding going camping because I am so scared. This probably seems silly to most of y’all, but as a woman, I probably lack the experience of most of you guys. This product has given me the confidence to start enjoying driving again...so they are worth it for me.

Saw presentation in Minot ND. The concept is similar to what I worked on many years ago. They seem to have resolved the mounting problems.
The feature that I think will make Retroband better is the limit of the OD drop if you lose a front. This should make control easier IMO.
