I just had a set installed at NIRVC in Phoenix. $3295 + $200 labor, for 315s. I haven't gotten the coach back yet (waiting on parts from Entegra).

Either you got a really good deal or they installed the wrong ones. The 315 and 365 prices were about $4500. I’d check and make sure they installed the correct ones.

That's what my invoice says. I'd prefer to think that I got a deal - after all, I have spent about three to four thousand dollars driving to NIRVC multiple times to get things fixed. Brett actually called me three times in the last two years, wanting to discuss how to make things right. I can't bring myself to call him and complain for money. So maybe it starts to come out in the wash - who knows?

Blow outs are nasty nasty things, can imagine a front tire blow out.

Alas these bands would have no effect on that.
Plus most put only on front wheels.

They are not made to prevent damage, although they may help. They are made to help keep you on the road and not kill yourself and to be able to get to a safe place.

Contacted Angie at NIRV Dallas and they are in the process of getting stock for the Retroband 275 size by mid March. No price yet but hoping to be around $3500 installed for the pair. I'm on the list when stock arrives.

I'll stick with my Tyron bands
New technology can be great sometimes, but knowing what works I'll stick with my Tyron bands for the time being. I have them on my Newmar steering front wheels trust my life with them!

Is there any value for a rear set? I remember from my gas coach days that rear inner dualies were also subject to lots of blowouts. I get the steer tire issue/risk. But rear single blowout of a dualie? I'm honestly not sure if there is value or not. Experts please chime in.

Only very limited value on duals and certainly not worth the investment. All JMHO

My opinion is that putting Rettrobands on the drive axle is largely wasting money. Steers is what you want to protect.... you want to keep the coach on the road and under control. I'll get them, but they will be on the front steer tires only.

I see no value in using Rettrobands on dual. They are designed to LIMIT the DROP after a tire fails. You can only avoid failure by running TPMS which will warn of air loss and not overloading your tires and having competent inspection done each year starting at #5
