Kenyon Q2 Lite Touch Induction Stove Top Failure

Just wondering if anyone else is having, or had issues with their Kenyon Induction Stove Top. Looks like ours has failed.



We are parked here in Sebring, Fl for the winter so if I have to replace it, now is probably a good time to do so.


The stove top is a Kenyon Q2 Lite Touch Portrait model B41540 and the hole size is 21 3/4 L x 12 3/4 W.


Any suggestions on a replacement would be greatly appreciated.

We have the Kenyon glass cook top (not induction) and had to replace it. I discovered that EC installed it with silicone all the way around. As I tried to remove the cook top, the glass chipped. The end result was there was no way to repair the original only replace. Kenyon was good to work with. When I replaced mine, I just used an inch or so of plumbers putty at the corners to secure he top in place. Hasn’t moved and will be much easier to remove in the futur. Good luck

UPDATE - Kenyon Q2 Lite Touch Induction Stove Top Failure

Hello all,


Thought I'd let everyone know how I got along with my Kenyon Q2 Lite Touch Induction Stove Top.



Contacted Customer Relations at Kenyon and sent them an email explaining what happened. A day later I had a call from Frank Palmeri, their Customer Service Technician who apologized for the incident, saying it shouldn't have happened, and that they were sending me a brand new replacement stove.


Today, we have a brand new stove installed and the old one is on it's way back to Kenyon by their prepaid UPS.




Need to thank Frank Palmeri at Kenyon Customer Service Tech for the authorization, and Heather Wilson, at Kenyon Customer Service/returns Coordinator for making it all happen.



We all have issues of some sort, at some time, with these technical wonders we know as Motorhomes. It's important that happy endings be reported here in the Forum as well.
