Key Pad Entry - Lock
I'm sorry because I think this is a really dumb question. I can't find the answer in the book. I can find how to program the keypad entry but...
How do I lock the front door using the keypad? I can unlock it, but I don't know how to lock it.
Thank you,
2018 Entegra Aspire

No "on hold" on the forum, usually much faster. Leaves CS free for serious problems. Also the answer may benefit several others with the same question.

To lock, like Fla Tom said hold the 1/2 key for a couple second. For unlock enter your code then 1/2 key unlocks entry door, 3/4 key unclocks cargo doors, 7/8 key unlocks everything.

JH would you believe after all these years, the changed it on the 19's. 1/2 still the door, but 3/4 is now everything. I guess too many numbers were confusing people.

Yep, 1/2 did it. Yes, very simple, as expected.
Thank you also for the information on the 800 number.
That said these forums have been great. Beyond great. Thank you all for the excellent (and quick) responses.

Press and hold 1/2 also sets the alarm. We found out the hard way you may not want to set the alarm if you have a load of clothes going when you leave the coach. Spin cycle must have set off the alarm and the park called us in the middle of lunch! We also turned down the sensitivity.

Thank you,
That's very helpful on the alarm. We don't typically leave the washer (or even dishwasher) running for water reasons but that's still great advice.
It seems to me that using the key fob to lock also sets the alarm.
We'll keep all of that in mind.
Thanks again.

For the Aspire, there is an easy solution for this. On your Trimark controller (under the removable cover right side of dash) set dipswitch #6 to ON and power cycle the controller. Now the door will LOCK with the first button press on the keyfob or 1/2 button, but NOT ARM the alarm (you will not hear a chirp). A second button press immediately thereafter WILL ARM the alarm and you will hear a chirp.
However, for some reason dipswitch #6 does not behave as intended when cargo mode is also enabled (dipswitch #1 is also on), so this trick won't work on Anthem/CS that have electric cargo door locks.
I added cargo locks to my Aspire and lost this helpful feature. I've reported the bug to Trimark but they appear to have no interest in providing a solution.
For now I have disconnected the siren speaker so even if the alarm is triggered it won't bother anyone.
I have verified this behavior on several other Entegras 2017 and older. Trimark controller 22310-01 rev. 05/07.
Perhaps someone with a 2019 could test this and see if the bug still exists.
