kitten rescue

We stopped by our storage unit and there were LOTS of folks gathered around it. They/we could hear a kitten meowing and were trying to find it. No luck until we opened the door to the main house batteries, got a flashlight and looked up above the batteries. Sure enough there was about a 3 week old kitten behind and above the batteries. There is enough room in the opening around the batteries for mama cat to "store" kittens. The storage unit people had caught the other kittens but this one got scared and wouldn't come out or didn't know how. Long story short our coach is now "kittenless" and once again quiet. If you hear strange noises check the battery compartment first and save yourself some time cuz that's probably where they will get in. Anyone want a pure grey kitten???

Some dumb idiot is putting cat food in the bed of his pickup in storage and feeding the mother. Think if I see that guy he may learn some new words. Just thought you all would like the story and the happy ending.

I'd be happier without the comment regarding someone showing some compassion for a hungry cat that needs to feed her kittens. TNR would be appropriate unless she can be adopted.

If kittens can get in there, so can rodents. THAT's a problem.

Look behind your front cap from the bottom up...lot of open space up there amongst the wiring..actually disappointing as it allows road spray up there as well. Found a lot of salt outside and inside a connector at Spartan. Of course they cleaned it up, but it does points to how open parts of our coaches are to entry of critters, both good and bad.
