Leveling

How much side to side leveling when parked using the air ride suspension. I have an uneven side to side parking area and before reconstructing a parking pad I was curious about how much difference I could make up. If a person were to get the side to side close could the jacks make up the difference. I don't want to add more concrete.

As the coach doesn’t need to be perfectly level, achieving perfection is a matter of comfort.

As mentioned, the use of blocks can make a big difference. Personally, I can easily gain anywhere from 2-6” of height on one side with the use of our array of blocks. At my Parent’s home in Ca., leveling was extremely difficult and I used a lot of tricks to get close.

Blocks were essential in that case.

I feel that if I can get the coach within 3-4” of level, the jacks can gain the rest.

I’ve never measured things, and leave a fair amount of jack extension unused, because I prefer not to loft any tires.

With the air leveling on a Cornerstone, I would expect at least 3-4” laterally, if not more. Jack usage should help a little beyond that point.

Are you getting a 2019 or 2020 coach? Will probably make a difference since 2020 coaches are coming with Valid systems and 2019 are Hadley.

Trying to make a level pad

I am in the process of getting a 2020 CS and I have a small slope to contend with on one side of my parking pad. I was hoping to just air level the right side and not use the jacks if possible. This site has provided me with so many ideas and suggestions - thanks to all of you.

Leveling

I believe you will have a different leveling system in the 2020. I use my air level most of the time. I will say a 3" difference is no concern on my Classic . I usually have a spotter when a severe level because my steps are really low on a steep slope. Now, if I am using the jacks often I need to adjust using the buttons on severe slopes.
