Looking at 2014 Entegra Anthem42 RBQ

We are trading up and I am wondering if anyone has had any major issues with this coach. We love the floor plan and standard equipment but still anxious to hear from folks who have looked or purchased one.

Thanks

We own a 2014 RBQ, it's been a great coach with a minimal of issues. Entegra service is the best there is. Had a few problems that were vendor related, few if any Entegra build issues.

Does it drive well and is it quiet inside when air is on?

I also have a 2014 Entegra Anthem RBQ. Have had several problems with it but customer service at Entegra looked after it until the warranty was over. Now I have to pay for all repairs. Went all last year without many problems. Just a starter (replaced under warranty by Spartan) and replaced two rooftop air conditioners that wouldn't work when I turned them on last fall. I don't use my coach very much in the summer, and am a snowbird in the winter. It seems that there is usually something wrong or broken with rv's. Rides very quiet compared to other rv's that I have owned. Handles very well. Make sure that the ball joint recall has been looked after. They had a problem with leaking radiators and Spartan (frame manufacturer) has replaced many of them.

I bought a 2015 Aspire RBQ new and it's been a great coach. Yes, there is always maintenance stuff but overall I'm thrilled. The only issue we've had so far........

The damn thing is too much fun to use

We have a 2013 Anthem rbq with 53,000 miles. The coach just runs. I do a lube job every 5000 miles and other than that it has been fantastic

Drive it and enjoy it. You will always have little things happen just bring a good toolbox, screws, bulbs etc. 99.9% of what we have issues with has been minor that I took care of myself

I bought mine new in 2013 and have been out of warranty for 2 years. I can still call Entegra if I need any help but I have to say the best help you will ever get is right here in this forum

All the Entegra owners have been fantastic

I have a 14 anthem but 44 b... I love it... and I am picky..
A quick list of what I had to do and others I have read..
Up grade Aqua hot pumps
Many many blind motors
Do the new upgrade quiet fan blades on the Coleman ac units
There's been other things but those things happen on all motorhomes
So u can't count those

I did have the ball joint recall done and mine were good
The radiator leak issue has not been on my coach
The starter issues also has not been on my coach

Buy it and do a few tweaks and enjoy...
It's a great motorhome..

Thank you! We are hoping to get a deal together this week however the dealer doesn't do engine work or make any guarantees on the engine. Thinking of getting it inspected real quick however some are saying there isn't much to them and they are bullet proof. Makes me nervous.

These coaches run the same Cummings engines that simi trucks run. They can go a million miles if you change the oil and take care of them. Do your annual service and they will run forever

There were some earlier models that had roof seam problem. Check to see if this is one of them or it has been corrected.

We pulled the trigger and absolutely love the motorhome. Was wondering though if anyone has had ride quality issues on the 14 anthem? When we drove it home it seemed to hit very hard in front at times rattling the entire front. Also felt some vibration from time to time on the front end.

There was a Spartan steering recall in 2015, check and see if that recall was completed.

Upgrade front shocks to Koni. Best money I have spent on the coach to this point. Search this forum and you will find some good information on the shock upgrade. Single biggest problem on my coach has been shade motors. Purchase a couple and get ready to learn how to swap them out. The new "red top" motors seem to be holding up much better.

This was the fix for my 2104 RBQ and many other earlier coach owners. Koni has a new 99 series out that are suppose to be even better than my 90-2890's
