I have searched and searched and cannot find it. A while back someone posted a Dish Network remote extender that would allow the Dish remote to work from the bedroom or outside TV. Does anyone know what that might be? I thought I had it bookmarked, but it is not there. Thanks

Google RF Remote or UHF Remote. Several to choose from.

All my audio/video components are behind wood cabinets in the S&B. I use a Logitech remote RF for the Dish box. Logitech remotes come with several RF-IR converters but the Dish box requires a special one. It works from a distance, I can adjust stereo volume from the backyard.

I did that and not sure which one that was posted that the user was extremely pleased with that he was using on his Entegra. It was a small radio transmitter that worked with the Dish remotes, but that is all I can remember.

I like the logitech as well. We call it the magic "mote". Don't use it in the rig however cuz the one we have is IR only. We use the RF feature on the DirecTV "mote" for outside or when the cabinets are closed.

Vance, what would you say is the range on your RF remote?

I can adjust volume from 35-45' away in the backyard thru a couple walls and cabinet.

This might help? When I was using the 211's in the motor home I also used the Logic Tech. Worked great and no annoying audio delay between TV's such as those sold by Best Buy.

I have since moved to the Dish Hopper system with Wireless Joey's. For those not familiar with it, this system uses a small " Access" box located next to the Hopper receiver and communicates with the small remote wireless Joey's that sit beside and connect to the TV's. Everything is UHF thru the walls and allows all TV's to watch different channels at the same time. Direct systems have a similar system. These systems come with built in DVR's.

I use in both house and MH. Works great.Some Dish Techs won't recommend it for Motor Homes and some will say it's OK as they run a little hotter than the 211k's. I use a lap top cool pack under the receiver that is powered by the receivers USB port.

Vance do you know which model that is for the Dish receiver? I will check it out before I order. Wait, your on the road and can't see it.
