Lower Night Shade?

My windshield night shade (MCD, full windshield dual) will not lower. My light switch on the wall by passenger seat is defective - ran all the tests on it, plugged it in the data port, tried it at a different location - it is dead.

My question - is there a way to override the switch so that I can lower the night shade at night, and raise it again in the morning? I would really like to put a switch on the dash so that when these Firefly stitches blow, my night shade will still work.

I have not messed with the programming wires that have the keys hanging in the upper corner of the windshield above the driver side. If someone has some experience in this, please let me know what to try. I will talk to Entegra and/or Firefly on Monday.

If you have the iPad option it will likely raise and lower the shades in question. JMHO
