Macerator Door Banging in the Wind

With the macerator hose deployed on our 2017 Aspire, the door blows in the wind banging the side of the coach. Any solutions?

Thank you,

On the 2017 models, there is a deck plate on the bottom of the macerator storage compartment.

Simply unscrew this deckplate and set aside, feed entire hose through opening, close access door, and connect end to sewer drain.

You should have been given a decent PDI from your selling dealer, shame on them.

Regarding the earlier models without such a deck plate, it would be extremely easy, and fairly simple to install one. When I'm home I will try to remember to go out to storage and measure the deck plate.

I hope this helps,

-Matt

There have been several photo posts where others have made under deck cam lock connections where the door can stay closed. Looks like the way to go.

Thank you,
Not the same coach - but we often get gentle 40-50 mph breezes out here in west Texas. This is what I do for my sewer hose door

Early 2017's don't have this option....

We use a small bungee cord.
