Macerator Hose Help

I have read lots of posts on this, and I am as confused as ever. I knew immediately I didn't want to install the kit that was sent with the TSB (too many connections). Many have posted that the hose they have/had was cheap and flimsy and that the hose "thrashes" around when the pump is turned on. My hose appears to be decent quality and it does not thrash around. I am concerned about it rubbing the steel edge at a 90. Attached are a couple of pics - is this the same hose that you all (who had problems) had on your Coach? Thanks in advance for your help.

My 2006 has its original macerator hose. I believe it's an older style, "improved" so the maker could sell more macerator hoses.

Yes, I'm on my second hose. We have been touring all summer. We have been in the coach for around 150 nights since we purchased it in late Feb. when the pump is off the hose shrinks up to storage length, and when the pump is on it expands to full length. In addition when the pump surges the hose expands and contracts. All this contributes to abrasion of the hose. A heavier hose looses its flexibility, a flat industrial hose will be more likely to getting twisted and obstruct flow. I really like using the system, and hope Entegra will get sani-con to come up with a durable solution.

Thanks for the insight. It looks like I better act on one of the creative solutions that have been posted.
