I assume that valve is open since i have been using the maserator for about 3 weeks now.

I just went into wet bay and opened up the panel........there is no shutoff going out the pump to the maserator hose.....there is a cam lock on hose..but that's all I see......it pumps out fine.

I will be ordering a 12 volt remote switch to wire into the manual switch....then I can run the pump by remote in half bath.

Never say no way because that is exactly how my system works. Was set up with full hookup for past 3 months and only closed the gray tank valve for 2 days each week to save water for flushing lines after dumping black tank.

I installed the Drainmaster electric valve on my Grey tank. it comes with two switches and I put one in my mid bath, very convenient and was a fairly easy install.
