With all the new computerization in one small radio, is that even possible anymore? The Android Auto portion if my truck radio system is already out of date and needs to go back to the dealer for an upgrade, two years old next month. There is to much computer being put into what use to be just a radio. Something is going to glitch and need rebooting.

In 5+ years, my radio has never required rebooting. If it did, why couldn't you just turn the radio off and back on rather than rebooting the whole coach?

Marc it was the GPS screen had nothing but lines in it. I did turn it off but it came back the same way, shut the 12v power switch off and it rebooted and has worked fine ever since.. I don't have a clue why so many things have to be rebooted, especially with the Firefly system, but it does. Sometimes it is nice to have it at the drivers seat than trying to tell the DW where it is at the entry while doing 65 mph.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU- My GPS has been going on and off at some inopportune times and the restart takes forever - going through blank screens and screens with lines....Just turned the switch on and off and problem solved!!!
