Oh, I know what you mean but the 'sweet spot' isn't right up snug to the back of the semi, it's way back in the slip stream where you can feel the blast buffeting the top your RV back and forth a little. Quite a ways back actually. Far enough back you'd have time to dodge a road gator. Not any more dangerous then normal travel on the road with all the randomness that can happen there. In addition, I always check out the look of the semi before attaching to it. The newer the better.
