Modification - gas to induction cook top in 2015 Aspire DEQ

Wondering if anyone has changed from gas to true induction? If so, please share how you found a way to have it fit w/out getting all new counter.

FYI the counter material can be seamed pretty invisibly by a good installer. You can probably get the color code from Entegra.

Yep, should be a fairly simple thing to do. I've thought about doing it with our rig but the DW prefers making reservations to making dinner so we really wouldn't gain much. The only thing propane is the cooktop and we only have a 5.5 gal tank anyway.

Purchase a portable induction cooktop, then you have the best of both worlds.

We have a portable electric cook; works great when the need arises.
