Moving on south, any recommendations for Nashville and Memphis area for RV parks?
I'm working my way south and looking at Nashville and then Memphis area to stay for about 2-4 days each. I'm looking for recommendations for RV parks close to those area's. Any input would be welcomed!!
Thanks

In Memphis area I recommend Memphis Jellystone Park in Horn Lake, MS. It is the nicest, best kept RV park in the Memphis area. It is barely across the state line in MS. From the campground it is 15 mins to downtown Memphis. It is in a nice suburb setting with nearby shopping. All spots have concrete pads.
Some people like Tom Sawyer park in West Memphis, AR. It is on the Missippippi River. You can watch the river barges but not much close by to do. During heavy rains it floods.

As Dave noted - the KOA in Nashville is about the best KOA we've stayed in and you can't beat the location. There are several other CG's on the same road that look nice as well.
We're across the road from Opryland and all that stuff and there are shuttles to downtown.
Several years ago we stayed in a COE park north of Nashville - AAA for beauty and price. Not so great for access to Nashville attractions.

There are seveal COE parks just south of Memphis, off I-55 in Mississippi.
One near Coldwater, (35 mi south), one near Sardis, (53 mi), one on Enid Lake, (82 mi).
I am not familiar with the Nashville area.
Sorry

X2 for the Jellystone park in Horn Lake. Have stayed there several times. It's also a passport America park. No restrictions last time we stayed there. Noel

Ditto on the KOA near Opryland. We were happy with our stay.

Tom Sawyer park in West Memphis Arkansas, or Graceland Rv park behind the heart break hotel. In Nashville you have KOA, jellystone and one other one on Music valley drive.

I did stay at Tom Sawyer RV park in West Memphis and you guys were right. Very nice, enjoyable park. Tried to stay 2 extra nights but they only could give me one more night. Right on the river is beautiful and seeing all the river traffic was amazing. Will come back here again. Thanks for the excellent advice.
