Just pulled into 104 Bontrager Drive this afternoon for my PDI starting tomorrow! Just curious how other PDI's have gone? I gave them my list a few months ago but do they only fix what's on my list or do they have an inspection process that they go through and find things on their own? I planned on M-F , is that realistic? Have some Spartan items too, radiator and site glass replacement. Am I being too optimistic? The parking lot has been expanded across the street so plenty of parking, wifi is very good too so far.
The DW and I were wondering what to do the next 5 days, any suggestions, restaurants, tourist spots, etc? Yes, we've already tried Amish Crack and it's fantastic!!!
Will do the factory tour on Tuesday and looking forward to it but open to any and all suggestions.

The German cheese factory in Shipshewana never can remember the name.) Blue Gate Amish Restaurant, Yoders Meat Market, E&G bulk food for outstanding ice cream and bakery. The bulk food is also great!....all in Shipshewana.

So with entegra you obviously get the two year warranty vs one year with most everyone else...but u can schedule a 2 year "pdi" to have them tighten things up?? Cost for this??

If you get your rig to Middlebury during its warranty, the PDI is part of the two year warranty

Yes, the PDI, Post Delivery Inspection,is free. They recommend to come in during the last 6 months of your warranty period, during the last 18-24 months of your warranty. It was one of the major reasons I went with Entegra in the first place.

Wow...I didn't realize that. Seems like a big positive when comparing different brands. I have been heavy on newmar in my search for a dp (currently have Fuzion toy hauler), and honestly don't know if entegra fits my budget, but the two year warranty and the pdi at end of it seems like huge positives to me

If a Newmar the comparable Entegra will certainly be no more and likely less dollars. JMHO and experience.

Take a Newmar factory tour after your Entegra tour. You will really be able appreciate the significant differences (hung walls, marine grade plywood, amount of insulation) in the construction of the Entegra products.

The cheese factory is GUGGISBERG Cheese and there are lots of samples ! Next to E & S Bulk Foods is Ben's Bakery a small place comared to Rise n Roll but very good and look over on the corner shelf for the 1/2 price or less " day old " bargains.

They will work off the items on your list but also have their own process and checklist. They found a number of issues I didn't know about when I had my PDI last year.

They take your coach at 6:30 every morning and bring it back not later than 3:30. Your lead tech or service writer will go over everything they did that day. They will get your coach finished as soon as possible and release you but they don't rush. Planning on Mon-Fri is a good plan. I was impressed with their process.

If you need it, and there is time available based on your other items and their workload, you can get your Aquahot and generator serviced and engine oil changed. Those items are not free.

Our PDI is in mid July, I appreciate all of the advice as well. The fact that Entegra does this post PDI is one big reason we chose Entegra, that is customer service.
