I thought my recent storage experience might be informational to others. Due to family obligations, we had to put our 2013 Aspire into storage for three months from the first of December to March. It was made easier by the fact that it was left in Central Florida and I was able to have it plugged in to 30 amp. I did not totally winterize it but did drain the freshwater tank, open all faucets, and left the refrigerator open. I cut off the main power switch at the door, shut off the inverter and other breakers in the inverter panel as well as the A/C breakers in the main panel. I did not put down the stabilizers. My brother-in-law checked the house batteries after two months and all had water above the plates so they were doing good. I asked him to unplug it at that point and plug it back in the day before we returned. I did not add anything to the fuel. The day we returned, I turned all of the power systems back on, started the engine (no hesitation
), started the generation (again no hesitation) and moved the coach to a nearby campground. It needs a good washing but I am quite pleased that my concerns over this extended storage were unfounded. When I had called Spartan Customer Service about what to do before the event. They said, "PLug it in and lock the door". It was pretty much that simple.
