New and Improved CR Spotless DI System

Finally got a chance to try out the new rods that replace the small canisters in the CR Spotless DI water system and so far the results and performance are great. The amount of extra resin that ends up replacing the smaller interior canisters is significant. I thought the previous performance was satisfactory but now I am looking forward to even better performance and longevity.

After doing the car twice and the entire motorhome once the TDS meter is still showing 0 ppm and no leakage by the rods.

Found the rods here: https://rvtransformers.com/spotless-water-di-systems/

From someone who has had these rods now for 6 months in my cr spotless I would say they make the resin last maybe 20% longer
But I also live in one of the hardest water zones in the U.S
They do help slightly.. i also wash often and multiple other vehicles.
Even with the rods the resin was adding up..
I now have another version of di rinse system that supposedly gets
4000 gallons per resin change.. costs $550.00 on the same website you
Posted with only a 150.00 a bag of resin... doing the math I should be way more money ahead with my washing patterns...
Hope the rods work in your hard water zone better...

A heads up. If your referring to CR Spotless resin be careful where you buy your resin. Recently I replaced my original 10 month old resin with what I thought was a CR bag of resin I had bought on Amazon when I bought my CR sys. It started spotting and numbers climbed to 100+ after only a few washes.

Two weeks ago I called CR to find out what's going on and if I had messed up while changing resin. They told me I likely had or bought old outdated or bad resin. I told them about the advertiser I had bought from and they were well aware of him. I then asked to buy a prefilled canister thru their current exchange *program. They said No Can Do as I had not bought my last resin from them and they would not be able recycle it with assurances it was good resin to be sent out on the exchange swap.

CR was nice enough to go ahead and do the exchange for me, I received the new canister and on their prepaid return shipping invoice there was a notice to receiving dept. to discard the canister as they were not sure it contained their resin. I liked seeing that. CR also said they keep track of who buys resin from them and use the list to qualify them for the exchange program.

If you haven't used it, it's a good program. $49.00. free shipping & return for single canister. My .02 worth.

rv upgrades .com has the best deal from what I found..

costco use too but theye dropped the sale of the resin for some reason..

at the time it was 150.00 which included 4 bags of resin which loaded the large cr twice..
