New Anthem buyer

This is my first post on the forum. Hello to everyone. We are taking delivery of a 2013 Anthem at Lazydays in Fl next month. I am reading all of these posts about problems with slides, etc., and it has got me to thinking, and I hope not over thinking. I am looking for some feedback as to why you went with Entegra and not another company. I know my reasons, but I consider myself a newby. We have been in a Carrie-Lite Emerald since 2008, but don't know much about motor homing. I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks

I am a brand new MH owner ; I didnt even have an RV of any type before, so I know your growing pains. You will be happy with Entegra - I went to the factory , did a tour and was thoroughly impressed with the brand. I had a Cornerstone on order but cancelled it as the FP just didn't work out for me. Anthem didn't have the FP I wanted either - so I bought Tiffin Zephyr which was my 2nd choice in my price range. The FP is perfect, the coach isn't an Entegra but its very easy to live in for me.
I can't say enough about the quality of the coach you're getting though

I would do a thorough check in at LazyDays and sit with the coach for days in their lot while you do the check in. Lots of lists on these forums which you can choose from. You'll be overwhelmed with all the technology but just make sure you learn as much as you can before you leave. Also these coaches often have wheels out of alignment - I would have them do a wheel alignment before you arrive. Every new coach I test drove pulled to the side

I also shipped out via UPS a number of boxes with personal effects to the dealer where I took delivery. Nice to have your own sheets and pillows on the trip home (and while staying at the dealer to check in). If you plan ahead with the boxes its nominal charge to ship out.

Enjoy your new MH !

Congrats on your soon to pickup Entegra Anthem. We recently got ours and are having virtually no problems with it. Zero slides issues and the alignment is fine. Let go of the wheel and it tracks nicely down the center of the lane. We have almost 4000 miles after not quite 2 months of ownship and are glad we bought it.

Originally, we were looking at Tiffins (owned one before) but with their history of
Cracked rails and rotting floors, we felt Entegra was the only way to go. The build is superior and their customer service is superb.

When you get your coach, you must take it to the Entegra Owners Summerfest next August in Michigan to show it off. For more information, send me an email at entegrasummerfest@yahoo.com .

You made a good choice with Entegra. Second one so far and we are enjoying it. No issues. Lazydays will show you how to operate everything and go through everything. If it needs attention have them fix it during PDI. Plan to spend some time at LD while on delivery. The longer you spend in the coach at the property the better your experience. Enjoy the Crown Club and congratulations.

White...we're coming up on three months in our Anthem and it has been a dream come true...we've had issues of course, all coaches do.

But fit, finish, customer service, and assistance from both Entegra and Spartan have been great.

No second thoughts, 3500 miles, and halfway across the country...wind and bad weather...we love our coach. As DW said..dream come true.

New guy

Congrats

I bought 10 years ago from Lazy Days. My recent Entegra purchase was from Orlando RV. Of the two dealers LD's is probably better, but I got a better overall deal where I bought. My biggest advice is travel to LD, take delivery, then REMAIN at the LD property for at least 3 days. Take your time, learn your RV. Ask every question you can think of. Bug the heck out of service to get it right before you drive away. Test absolutely every system. Go for a drive, bring it back. My point is it is difficult to get back for service and they have most every part in stock and techs who have worked on everything. Every experienced RV-er will testify once you get your RV debugged it's a lot of fun. I saw buyers with American Coaches and Tiffins stay there and learn their coaches at a leisurely pace.....it looked very calm and enjoyable. I think my haste to grab the RV and run has complicated my new RV ownership several times. I guess when you get older, you get smarter.....at least most times.

IMHO
