We ordered our Anthem DEQ about a month ago and it will be delivered to our dealer by mid-July and ready for delivery to us August 1st. So in our case that is 3 1/2 months.

However, the 2014's are being built at the factory right now and will soon be delivered to the various dealers so you should be able to find what you are looking for from their soon to be delivered inventory. In reality there are no true "custom" orders as Entegra does not deviate from the existing floor plans, colors or options. Custom work must be done by your dealer after delivery.

We placed our order in mid April. Our bus went into production on Monday (June 3rd). It is scheduled to be at our dealer's by mid July and ready for us to hit the road August 1st.

Wally, have you verified those dates with the factory as they seem kinda short. Our coach took over 2 months to be built and then delivered to the dealer. Regardless, you are going to LOVE your new coach!!

Yes, those are the dates we were given by Entegra and confirmed with our dealer. We were told it takes 2 weeks in the factory to build, then 3 weeks at Precision Paint then back to Entegra for final quality control. They have PROMISED us that we will be ready to hit the road August 1st. We do have a back-up plan just in case but are really hoping they deliver as promised.

I would do both and put the most faith in what the factory says.

Johnnyreno - welcome! Here's the build timeline for our 2014 Anthem 44DLQ. We were told that the Spartan chassis started on the production line on April 1, and it went to Precision Paint on or about May 20. Not sure how long it was at Precision. When Entegra started production, I was told the scheduled date of completion at the factory was June 24. I spoke with the dealer yesterday, who then talked to the factory, and they are now saying it will be finished on June 20. The dealer told me about another Entegra coach they are involved with that had an original estimated completion date of June 19, but which actually rolled off the line yesterday, June 7. Hope this info helps. With respect to the new coach, time seems to be standing still, but our seemingly long wait is nearly over!

Keep n mind that once done at Precision, and driven back to Entegra, they do a complete QC review. Seems like about 4-6 coaches in that part of the yard a day. Not sure how long they stay, but if they didn't move to the drive away lot, things would start to stack up. Then when complete with that, the delivery company gets three days as well (usually taking 2 days). Once on the dealer lot, they have to do their acceptance PDI.

Congrats on getting close

... And don't forget that once it gets back from paint and before the complete QC review is done, they add the awnings, slide toppers, mirrors, windshield washer arms, etc. all those things that aren't on it when it goes to paint.

While the build process seems to take forever, it is definitely worth the wait knowing your coach arrives at the dealer with very few things for the dealer to do to it other than clean it up for you. Other manufacturers often send coaches to their dealers with obvious QC issues like misaligned cabinet doors, slides that won't open, furniture that wasn't bolted down, broken furnaces - just a short list on the problems we had with our first Tiffin coach.
