NEW Entegra Anthem owner seeking advice

Hello everyone,

We are first time RV buyers who recently purchased an 2012 Entegra Anthem. We will be picking it up on 2/22. Looking for your FAVORITE tips, comments, thoughts and recommendations for us. Be it on driving, generators, parking, hook ups, dry camping etc. We realize we don't know what we don't know and wanted to reach out to the wealth of experience this form offers.

Thx in advance for your help.

Take a Video camera to record the walk thru with your dealer, take notes
how to operate A/C heater, hot water heater, Genny, surround sound , dvd player etc. and before leaving the lot try working all of the above so you have an idea. buy a voltage tester and fuses. buy a truck tire gauge you can get them at a truck stop. if you have a Aqua Hot on your coach buy at least 2 gallons of boiler anti freeze that is made for this type of system. distilled water for the batteries, black tank treatment, tissue paper, paper towels, bed linens, pillows, flashlight.
hope this helps
Congrats on your new coach

One suggestion. Pick up the coach. Do the walk around with the tech. Schedule several RV parks in the area. Make an appointment a week later with the dealer.

Run everthing you can think of --heat, A/C, hot water, fridge, etc. Run the slides out. Level it up. Keep track of anything wrong or any questions. Take it back to the dealer for resolution

Definitely helps! Thank you. Didn't consider fuses, antifreeze, tire gauge...any of that. Need to start making a list of things such as that to keep in a toolbox in the coach. Thanks!

As a first time RV buyer, you might find some of the videos the RVgeeks have posted on YouTube to be a help.

http://www.youtube.com/user/RVgeeks

And... if it makes you feel any better, I've been full-time RV'ing for the past 8+ years... and I STILL learn something new about driving/maintaining/cleaning/living in an RV almost every day on these forums. So my advice? READ!!! There's LOADS of great info on here!

Congratulations on your new coach! You picked a beauty!
