I’ve been watching this thread and a couple of others because I’ve been looking at your brand as a potential upgrade from my rather aged Newmar. Regardless of how many coaches are out there that haven’t had the issue...yet...it’s impossible to view this information favorably. I drive a 15 yr old coach on a Spartan chassis and have had nothing of the sort, and it’s never been a topic of discussion that I can recall on the Newmar board. Entegra has a problem with radiators, and that is inescapable.

It's not Entegra, It's Spartan starting in 2014. Entegra did not make or install the radiators, they came from Spartan. I though that was made clean in this post?

No, I get that. I’ve read this either in this thread or another one, but Entegra markets the coach and it is Entegra that should be taken to task. And as I said, I cannot find any evidence of Newmar having this issue with Spartan radiators.

Who is it that warranties the radiators for 3 years? There was an American Coach having his 1 year old Spartan radiator replaced when mine was being replaced. Bad mouth Spartan, they deserve it.

Add me to the list. 2012 Anthem with almost 80k miles. Noticed a leak after a long road trip (during cool down). Have been adding fluid for a little while but never actually saw a leak or even a wet spot but reading all of the posts here and Facebook it seems common. Started in lower left corner when looking in from the fan side. Waiting on if the extended warranty will cover but the quote was about $6k, yikes!

I have started down this path and have an interview via phone with them this week.

The latest exchange of counters was last week so suit is ongoing. In the meantime, API has merged with another company and been acquired by private equity.
Still waiting on reply from spartan if they will follow their own creed of “ doing the right thing” as stated in their corporate mission statement.

David, Thank you, finally someone has started down the right path. Typical of vendor corporations, make a junk product that effects thousands of end users, bail and let the courts figure it out. It only took Norcold refrigerators 13 years to finally get backed into a corner.

My 2014 just had the dreaded radiator failure at 45,000 miles. Out of warranty of course. Spartan sold me a newer type radiator, Modine Mfg, at a discounted price. Fortunately I gambled in 2014 and bought one those pricey extended warranties. Paid for itself on this one job.
