New SL

Well - Here goes. We've been lurkers for a while but tomorrow we start the pickup process for our new Anthem 44SL.

First - Thanks to all of you. The comments and suggestions as well as the criticisms have been enormously helpful. We worked under the radar to try to understand and go forward with the ideas that made the most sense for our unique (Weird?) situation. In most cases we found confirmation - in several we found meaningful changes. Marc, and of course Cruzer, were especially helpful. I say that at the risk of inflicting "Bigheaditis".

Lazy Days has been cooperative and helpful since we ordered in what seems to be the Dark Ages but was really just last October. Everyone there gets an A for the support we've had. I am sure that other dealers do well also - just couldn't be happier than we are with the pricing process and the follow-up.

It's our 3rd coach - Discovery, Phaeton, Anthem. We had no plans to buy but while on the lot (Too long a story) we looked at the Allegro Bus and the then the Entegras. We would not have acted except for the price/value proposition that Entegra presented. We made our choice in about an hour.

We chose the 44SL since we want the space in the living area instead of the bath and a half - just us. We chose Midnight Illusion but wish the white was a bit more muted. It's pretty "In your Face" but it is seriously impressive. The fireplace may go at some point and the pantry is pretty cheesy and should have been an Amish selection. The slides over the kitchen counter are too high and that whole area needs some live-in engineering. Hey - we had to find something.....

We know - Photos to follow!

A big congrats...welcome aboard.

And that white stripe adds "distinction". IMO of course, and note that I left the "honest" out because I'm a little biased.

Look forward to meeting you'all on the road.

Congrats on the new SL. That is exactly what we are targeting although I have yet to see one in person. Hopefully after tax season I'll get my chance.
