The other aspect to look at is how many gallons if fuel can you purchase for the price difference of the Aspire versus Anthem....that will take you many miles. JMHO

We purchased the 2015 Aspire 44B about a month ago based on budget constraints.
We traded a Beaver with Diesel Aqua hot. Found the diesel a little smoky from time to time. Thought the propane would burn cleaner.

I have documented daily usage since we picked up the coach. Seems we are using about 1% a day if the nights stay above 50.

If the nights drop into the 40,s or lower I flip on the floor, ft and rr heat and usage is about 3% a day. Prefer the aqua hot as the roof airs are a little louder and do not function as well.

We are in a park for the winter so we can fill up onsite quite easily, however I wanted to know where we would be at with the propane should we be off the grid.

We are in the Phoenix area so no freeing temperatures. Hope to never be in them again with the coach.

Hope this helps

You do not have the same Aqua hot unit and there are challenges. We have to turn on the gas heat in the 2nd zone in order to circulate the hot water. In a diesel Aqua hot there is a third fan that does that not requiring the second zone to be on. I had the heat restriction removed on my coach, which helped a ton for hot showers. The new 2016 Aspire is all electric, has a dishwasher available, and the new cook top. All nice that is a part of an Anthem. The manual shades on the Aspire, except the front, are nice for me as it reduces the repairs and replacement of motors and shades to only the front. We are toying with moving up to an Anthem in 2017 buying a 2016 model, but if push comes to shove will settle for an Aspire having the improvements that have been made. Propane is just one more fuel to find, have loaded on the wrong side of the coach for most places which is eliminated on the 2016 model.

Diesel Diva, the 16 Aspire still has propane for Agua Hot. You are correct on the induction cook top. Hope I read your statement correctly.
