I have the Blue Ox BX8835 Karguard and Blue Ox Avail tow bar towing a 2015 Grand Cherokee Summit behind a 2013 Tiffin Phaeton. No problems, no rubbing, and everything fit great. No rock nicks either.

We tow with a Blue Ox Avail hooked to a 2015 F-150. We originally tried a Tow Defender suspended under the tow bar. It got caught between the road and the hitch on a tight up hill turn and ripped it so we repaired it. Then it burned through against the exhaust pipe while traveling and was dragged down the road for a while before a spot to pullover was found. It could have been repaired after this but not while on the road. When it was on it worked good but it didn't last. We drove about 800 miles without the guard and had no damage to front of the truck so we don't bother with it anymore. So far, so good...
