NIRVC Phoenix

Anyone been to the new facility in Phoenix? If so, any tips or issues getting into it? Does address show up on GPS?
We are coming up from Tucson.

Call before you go, they may be in a soft opening and want you in either place, just depends.

Talked to Cowboy on another matter this morning. They can not find your contact information (process of moving and running two sites). Give Cowboy a call, his cell phone number is: 817-774-3476. Anyone feel free to contact Cowboy anytime if you have any questions or problems, he is very serious about customer service. He will help solve your problem.

Sales and service are at the current location so if you are needing that kind of assistance that is where you should go
Storage is open at the new place based on my conversation with them last week

NIRVC Phoenix

Don’t know but I think service is likely to remain at the old location for awhile as they finish optimizing the new location with outside amenities and inside equipment and tools. Regardless you will get the same great service, people and attitude they have become famous for. All JMHO

I was over on the west side of the Phoenix valley a couple of weeks ago (12/17/2019), so I stopped by to check out the progress on the new building. At that time they were open for storage and had more than a few coaches inside the building. The sales guys were in the process of relocating motorhomes, sales literature, etc. from the current facility to the new one.

The building NIRVC is moving into used to be occupied by a company called Rioglass Solar. They were the original occupants of the building and the cross streets were named for them – Solar Canyon Way being the north/south street in front of the building and Rioglass Solar Road being the east/west street on the north side of the building. The original address was 13351 W. Rioglass Solar Road; Surprise, AZ 85379.

With NIRVC taking over the building, the city of Surprise assigned a new address which is 11280 N. Solar Canyon Way; Surprise, AZ. Below are photos of the old entry sign and the new one.

The Google Maps website is aware of both addresses, so if you use Google Maps for navigation either address will get you there. Not sure about other navigation systems. The U.S. Postal Service web site doesn’t yet recognize the new address.

The building sits right about in the middle of a square mile bounded by the following major streets:

Cactus Road on the North
Peoria Avenue on the South
Dysart Road on the East
Litchfield Road on the West

The relatively new 303 Freeway runs north & south, about four miles to the west of the NIRVC building. There are exits off the 303 at Peoria Avenue and Cactus Road. You can take either one. If you take the Peoria exit, turn east, go four miles, then turn north on Solar Canyon Way. If you take the Cactus exit, turn east, go four miles, then turn south on Solar Canyon Way.

If you’re coming from the 101 Freeway, the routing is a bit more complicated. The 101 has exits for Peoria Avenue and Cactus Road, but neither of those streets runs through to the area where NIRVC is located. Because of that, you’ll need to take the Olive Avenue exit (one mile south of the Peoria exit), then take Olive west to Dysart Road. Go north one mile on Dysart, turn west on Peoria, then north on Solar Canyon Way.

Included below is an image from Google Maps that provides a perspective on the location of the building in relation to Phoenix metro area.

For any of you wanting to live nearby, Toll Brothers is in the process of building what promises to be a very nice master-planned community on Cactus Road just west of the 303:

Tommy

Do you ever not take the opportunity to advertise the AIM club or rally when you post? --

Tommy, I didn't cover it in my post above, but if you're coming south on Interstate 17 from the AIM Club rally, the best route to NIRVC's new facility will be to hit the 303 Freeway West off of I-17.

As you're coming south on I-17, watch for the Carefree Highway/Arizona Route 74 exit at mile marker 223. Don't take that exit, but a mile south of there you'll take the exit at mile marker 222 and continue south on the frontage road to the 303 Freeway. The 303 will be just south of mile marker 221.

Take the 303 west and stay on it until you reach Exit 113/Cactus Road. Take that exit and go about four miles east on Cactus Road to Solar Canyon Way. Turn south on Solar Canyon Way and look for the NIRVC building about half a mile south on your right.

Hey Tommy just keep in mind that Surprise, AZ (greater Phoenix area) is actually south of Sedona. You don't want you get lost like last time. Hey I'm just sayin!
