If not mistaken, I believe "Hot August Nights" have been ongoing in the Reno area. A VERY large gathering of custom cars. An annual event, causing unusually high motel/RV rates.....Safe travels, Curt..

Our experience on the west coast, when the kids are out of school the prices really jump. Kind of like Florida in the winter.
