On/off switch on Cornerstone handheld shower
Question for Cornerstone Owners
Is there an on/off or pause on the hand held Shower Wand? It seems almost a no brainer to conserve on water. I was at the delivery of a 15 CS and could not find one on the shower handle.
I also would like to know if that Delta showered provides enough pressure, or should I consider buying another??
Thanks for any advice and Info!

First thing I changed on our 13 Anthem. Lowes for a few bucks has a little chrome inline shutoff that even fits in the holder. Not sure why Entegra doesn't put one in. But the wet bay shower has one built into the shower head....???
Our Entegra shower works fine so I would expect yours to be good, too.

DW is trying to remember. She thinks not, on wither the handle, or on the wand...but then we both are suffering from CRS We're pretty happy though with all the Delta hardware in the coach, and the pressure is fine for us.

In the Cornerstone, or the 2015 anyway, there is no shutoff button; however, the temperature is set by a different mechanism than the water flow valve. I simply turn the water off, when I turn it back on the temperature is set in the exact same p[osition with no readjustments. Not exactly the same thing as a button, but does exactly the same thing without the button...

Unfortunately, most of us don't have a 2015 Cornerstone!

Sorry you are correct. Didn't see that, but he did ask about the shutoff on the wand.

The original post was concerning the Cornerstone and that is what I was responding to. I'm sure those with Anthem's, or whatever, can go out and replace your shower faucet and save yourself a lot of money over buying a Cornerstone just for the shower valve, or save even more and buy yourself an inline shutoff valve...

Thanks Dave!
Did you remove the flow restrictor and or the hot water restrictor? I also visited George Morlan plumbing supply and discovered that an oil rubbed bronze in line volume control can be ordered from Delta.........installed between the coiled hose and the water supply.
In Bend and Don Bingham says Hello!

Thanks Noel.
Having an Oil Rubbed bronze shower assembly really limits where you can find one. If you modified yours, where did you find it and how is the pressure?

Useful, but as I suggested, we're fine with the pressure, and as another CS owner suggested, once the hot water is set, you can turn off and on (if not long enough for the water in the hose to cool), and it is almost like having a cutoff. That said, having a cutoff only works if you don't allow the water in the hoses to cool as well.
As far as the restricter, no didn't remove it...but I did need to move the scald device one notch counter clockwise. You can access it through the handle.
