open for some advice
We are going to Shipshewanna IN for a rally this weekend and then the following Friday we have to be in Albany NY. We'll have 4 days to burn heading toward Albany, does anybody have any suggestions on things to do while heading East?
We were going to see Niagra Falls but we aren't sure at this point

If your going to be up towards Niagra then be sure to spend a day or two at Letchworh State Park. This has awesome waterfalls and deep deep gorges. Built during the depression by the CCC. The stone work is georgous.

Dave & Ginny hope you don't mind as We're also interested in suggestions as we are heading from Mass. through Albany ( I90 ) to Entegra factory later this month. We have a week reserved at Shipshewana South and about 3 weeks total for the round trip.

Brian and Sue.... I don't mind at all. I've traveled all over the country but I guess I haven't spent much time in the North East. That's why I'm asking those that have, what they liked seeing. I'll have 4 or 5 days to burn somewhere.

From IN to Albany NY
DW and I were up in those parts in 13. If you like casinos there is a Huge one before Albany. Can't remember town but we stayed at a campground nearby. It was just a stop iver us we just rode by the casino. Hope this helps

Letchworth State Park is definitely worth a stop. Don't forget about Falling Water, the Frank Lloyd Wright house south of Pittsburgh.

A couple of years ago we stayed at Golden Hill SP (NY) on Lake Erie (and I mean right on the lake too). Suitable for big rigs. Just a couple of miles East of Olcott. Not too far from Niagara for day trip. Lots of little towns around that area to exolore too.

That's probably Turning Stone in Verona, NY. Decent place, I think they give a 15% Escapees discount. Our blog post on our stay there.
There is a lot to do in the Fingerlakes region.
Arrowhead outside of Albany is where we usually stay in that area.
