Well we will see if the dealer can deal with the issues first, I will make the arrangements next spring for a trip to the factory if we are not satisfied by the dealership here! So far the dealer has tried very hard to make things right, but as Slabman states, I am not certain they have the knowledge to fix all the issues with the coach.

When you are paying that much money for a coach, you would think that the problems would be few an far between. What happened to quality control?

That's what I thought too. Most all new coaches require a little extra TLC.

Actually they are so complicated I am suprised that they dont have more issues than they do. I bought a new home last year and the "punch list" on it was a lot bigger than the one on my new motorhome. just my opinion

A quick update, we have been back to the dealer, they addressed most of the issues and took a crack at a few more. The bad news is, window still leaks, coach door still not lined up right but the electrical seems to be fixed. Oh and btw, we looked at a tag axel, 43 foot while we were getting work done to the 40 foot, it is the model with the rear washroom, we really REALLY liked it!! The coach is a dream to drive (now that I have gotten used to sitting in front of the steering axel) floats down the road like riding on a cloud! We have been boon docking for a couple weeks now and have had no major issues with the coach at all, loving it! (still really REALLY really like the 2012 43 foot tho!)

You may have blown it. Once you sit in and drive a tandem axle coach, there's NO TURNING BACK! You'll own one of those before you know it!

Your right slabman, we actualy traded up already! 2012 aspire on a spartan chassis, was sold to us as an asipre on and anthem frame with IFS but it does not have the IFS currently waiting on the dealer to come up with a solution to this. Will try to post a pic here now. Apparently not going to post a pick as all I have is a jpg image

Congratulations!! You will love that 2012 but it will be without the IFS as that is one of the differences between the Aspire and Anthem. What and WHere did you trade. I have a friend hunting a late model 40 ft unit and there should be none better than a used Entegra. Thanks

LOL offthewall, the mud is just part of our life here in the north, shoes off on the first step please!! Ann n Gene, the coach we traded is the 2011 aspire we bought in July, a dealer in Grande Prairie Alberta is where it now sits, it is the SKT model with the maple wood and tanish floor tiles.
