Ordering a 2017 Anthem

Hello to all and thanks in advance for your help.

We have recently returned from the Tampa show and had a chance to drive a 2016 Entegra Anthem 42. Awesome coach!

I'm strongly considering placing an order but rather confused as to how to order a 2017 when the pricing info is not yet available.

Can anyone provide any insight?

According to my discussions at the show, if I would order a coach based on 16 prices it would be guaranteed that the 17 increase would not be more than $20,000. Tadd Jenkins said 17 prices would be going up. Supplier increases, labor, expansion, and strong sales all contribute.

This is correct. I have a 2017 on order with the same stipulations.

We ordered our 2016 in early May before pricing was set and used 5% as an estimated increase so we had in our buyers order that once 2016 pricing was determined our cost would be reduced to actual percentage price increase and our dealer did just that . It wasn't an issue in our case.

I was hearing the same numbers
Talking to Tadd, RVOne Guys and the LD's people, they all were saying
no more than a $20k increase for a 2017.

Any word if Entegra will be introducing new floor plan options for the Anthem?

2017 Anthem

So with a 20k increase for 2017, how much will the Anthem be in actual out the door dollars? (Ballpark).

Well it depends on the options you select, but with the options we wanted (solar, basement fridge, traveler satellite) the 2016 price would have been a bit over 477K, so the promise is that it will not go above 497K with those same options options.

The math is quite easy. 16 Anthems list for ~$475,000, Standard discount is 25%, Tampa show discount was 27.5% which could be negotiated and there was a extra conditional incentive available to Lazy Days.

Recently, Motorhome Specialists was offering a 31.5% discount on Anthems with an email inquiry. Add $20,000 and your in the ball park. Your negotiating skills may do better. Have a trade? The math then becomes fuzzy.

Changes on 17's: Everyone was quite tight lipped, this is what I was able to glean. Paint will stay the same for 17, patterns and colors. There will only be the usual minor changes/tweaks that continually happen because 16 was a big year for changes. There is supposed to be a Cornerstone bunk model.

A new dash with state of the art electronics is on the wish list for future models. Things like digital screens for for all functions, crash avoidance, phone integration, even autonomous driving are being researched. No timeline offered.

Take this information for what it is worth, free.

Entegra is serious about growing the brand.

I just realized you said "out the door" dollars. That would be negotiated between you and the dealer as a percentage off MSRP, but the (no more) than $20K above 16 prices is what would be tacked onto the MSRP price of the new 2017 model. So if the 2016 MSRP is $477K and the 2017 ends up being $15K more then that would bring the 2017 MSRP to $493K. Then you could negotiate a percentage off the $493K.
