We took delivery of our new baby last week (Friday) at RVOne in Orlando. This delivery was almost the opposite of the first coach we purchased there in 2012 (2013 Aspire RBQ). Although RVOne won't be moving into their new facility until December of this year, they have made a lot of progress to give you a better delivery experience. We had an opportunity to spend time alone in the coach before doing any paperwork and a test drive was offered although we didn't choose to take one (anyone who has been unfortunate enough to travel I-4 in Orlando this year will understand why). We only spent one night at the dealership but, again, it was by our choice. Going from a 2017 Aspire to the 2019 Aspire wasn't a huge learning curve for us. Our technician, Nate, was very knowledgeable about Entegras and very helpful with new features. This early in a model year with a redesigned coach made for a learning curve for all of us but Nate didn't hesitate to seek assistance when questioned about something that was new for him also. (A perfect example - the dishwasher we received is brand new for this year. First time for us to have a dishwasher and the programming to set up the auto lock is definitely not intuitive. Nate was struggling to get the sequence correct and immediately placed a call to get the details down and then patiently went through it a few times with me until I could get it too.). We have his cell phone number and were told many times not to hesitate to call with any questions/concerns. The coach was in good shape with just a few minor items that we noticed. One part that Nate had found that needed replacing (the GPS module) had been ordered prior to our arrival but had not been shipped by Entegra when promised. The dealership offered us the option of staying through the weekend (we knew when we set up the Friday delivery that the dealership would be closed for Easter) and when we declined, will be sending a tech to our home (four hours away) to install the new unit when it arrives. He'll also be returning the tops to the ottomans (some deep dents in them that required a furniture expert who wasn't available until Monday or Tuesday). A much more pleasant experience this time around - and a coach that drove well and rode very nicely on the Michelins. How great to know we won't be riding on Goodyears again! I don't know what type of ongoing service we will have - if needed - with RVOne but I can tell you that Robin and Nate went above and beyond to deliver an excellent coach - which we love!
I know this post is getting long but one item I wanted to note. We have the new Cobblestone interior - stunning - for which there is a significant upcharge on the Aspire. The cabinets are high gloss but the effect is diminished because the fill used by Entegra to cover the finishing nails is a different color than the cabinets and woodwork. Nate told us that Entegra refused to warrant the dealership correcting the problem. We fully intend to take this up with the factory, along with one other item (the molded top of the cup/phone holder on the side of the passenger seat is not seated, and cannot be seated without being trimmed), but these are things that should NEVER have made it past QC. And there should not be any question about allowing a dealership to repair it when required.
And since it isn't real until you see it...this was when we arrived home last night.

Very nice. That is a striking paint scheme, and it looks really good. I’m happy to hear you seem excited. After the last year or so, you both deserve some fun.
I’ve got a couple of questions if you don’t mind.
I completely understand your desire to be done with Goodyear, considering everything you’ve been through.
I’m seeking any information you can offer comparing the 2017 Aspire with Goodyear’s, to the ‘19 with Michelin’s., in terms of an objective comparison.
Our last coach rode on Michelin’s, which rode fine the first few years, then seems like they started to ride more firmly.
Also, I’m wondering how bad the hit$$$ was going from a ‘17 to ‘19. If you prefer to PM I understand. I’m interested because you had the same year coach we have, and stayed with an Aspire. It seems like many folks go up when buying, such as Aspire to Anthem or Cornerstone.
Thanks for your insights,
-Matt

I asked Rick for an objective view of the drive between the two - because I have not driven either coach since the accident. His response was to remind me that he has not driven the new coach very far yet - just a couple of hundred miles - but he can say that there has been a definite improvement in both handling and ride. I noticed that the ride was a lot smoother. Ask again in October [emoji6]if all goes as planned we'll have put over 8,000 miles on it by then.
We like Aspires. We talked about an Anthem this time but, frankly, we like the decor in the Aspires better than the Anthems and Cornerstones - and we're not overly impressed with the whole Vegatouch thing. Our personal choice - we have friends who love having one - it's just not a big deal for us and seems like one more thing to break. We added the fireplace, dishwasher, solar panels, extra batteries, second big awing, the Travel'r and the Wi-Fi Extender. We know from experience that the 10k generator is just fine for our needs and the 400D AquaHot provides plenty of hot water and heat. We wanted the blue and black paint and the 19's added that to the Aspire options. Staying with an Aspire was an easy decision. We're loving the 44B. And yes, we are both excited. We're looking forward to a lot of fun, safe travels in this coach.
I'll PM you with a more info on the move...
