Congratulations Dave and Beth. I hope you enjoy you new ride as much as we do. Just get ready for the swarm of admiring people at the campgrounds. There is something about the Topaz color scheme. You cannot believe how many people tell me that is the most beautiful coach they have ever seen! Who am I to argue.

Thanks, Already experiencing that...of course, all new coaches draw attention, but, JMHO, the bold color schemes for CS this year really grab attention. I never expected the number of people commenting on how much they like the Fire Red exterior. And the Topaz and Fire red both really grabbed a lot of attention at FMCA.

RVOne and specifically Mark, from Albany, did a super job transitioning Beth and I...no complaints about coach readiness or Mark's run through and many explanations. A great delivery.

We noted a couple paint scratches and mars that will likely buff out. Some scratches on the chrome handles below and the door handle will need replaced. Overall, exterior beautiful.

Interior...a couple of tile will need replaced for scratches, and the door security fobs are inop. Board in the mail...easy install when it comes (have to use the door handle and keys for security till then. Steering wheel is a little out of alignment, suggesting I'll need a front end alignment, but we'll see how it handles first. May just need movement on the steering spindle.

If you are considering...for Beth and I and our money...we consternated long and hard between Newmar London Aire and Cornerstone. In our minds the CS won hands down. I drove the Comfort Drive...nice... but the interior and exterior fit and finish sold us on CS.

And someone is going to get a pretty nice Anthem 42DEQ that we left behind after 20000 of some of the best miles of our life!!!!
Congrats Dave & Beth can't wait to see you guys and the new ride witch is absolutely the best.

Carol and I after 6,400 miles across the country from Tampa had to return back to Tampa way early for surgery, a torn meniscus in my left knee. We were scheduled back the first of December but the pain is too much.

When we went through Phoenix we stopped at Cummins Rocky Mount Avondale AZ for service. They have 50 amp hook-ups outside their fence line for anyone arriving after hours. Great service

If 20k is the number that means we have 10k left before we get our cornerstone, sell our house and join the full-timers lifestyle on the road.

Great coach see you down the road again

Gee whizz!! I go off the forum for awhile to do some extended raft trips, and deal with selling our house and look what happens!!

Congrates on the upgrade! Nice coach!!

We still need to do that Harley ride.... I'll be in Colorado though mid September.

You may have noticed we changed our plans for Grizzly, we were there a couple weeks ago and then headed south to higher elevations.
P.S. You may want to chat with Les1951, you both have something in common.

Sorry we're going to miss you. Enjoy your way as you head towards the Balloon Festival...We love the new coach...as usual, a few things to work through, but we've got about a thousand on it and it is a great ride.

DSL Dave

We were out in NM about this time last year right before balloon fest and it appears as if campsites are tough to find for a 45footer during those weeks. Just out of curiousity, where are you guys planning to stay???

Dave,

We're not going to the Balloon Festival. Vaughn (aka Mucho) is, as are Saltydog, Dusty56, and others. I haven't been to the festival i over thirty years, but have relatives in the area and know that it gets pretty crowded, especially if you don't already have reservations.

At this point, you might try Los Suenos in Santa fe or there is a park across from the Buffalo Thunder casino in Pojaque. Those are going to be a 50-70 mile drive to get to the Northern edge of ABQ where the balloon fest is held. JMHO, it is a little late to take a trip there on, but if you do, plan on crowds and a drive. Goo luck.

Anyone with military base access try Kirkland AFB. We got a site there some years ago in the middle of balloon fest.

Stew, what are the requirements for military base access for campgrounds?
