Hi Paul,
Thanks for the endorsement of S&S. I'll give them a call in the morning.
The dealer procured the replacement cover from Entegra. As it turned out, the camera was also defective, so, the dealer sent both the camera and cover. No invoice to list Entegra part numbers, however, here's a picture of the camera in the cover on top of the box:
This one:
from Riverpark ( https://riverparkinc.com/product/con...logies-c3500m/) looks quite similar.
My prior coach had the side cameras mounted on the mirrors. The lower, side mounting on my '18 Anthem is vastly superior, IMHO.
Take care,
Stu

Stu, Bodyshop at NIRVC Dallas mixed a full set of sickens touchup paint for me. Cost was about $150 as I recall. Also recently has some paint work done there and was very satisfied with the quality.

Hi pd,
That looks awesome!
You wouldn't happen to have a spare (painted) camera cover, wouldya?
Take care,
Stu

You're welcome.
If you can get the parts, the wiring part of the process should be pretty simple.
There's one other aspect of the front cameras on my '18 Anthem that is significantly different (better) than my previous coach. I'm not sure if you have the capability on the '17.
That is, the ability to select a wide angle view on the front cameras that gives a view almost perpendicular to the side of the coach. The benefit there comes when you're trying to turn left onto a roadway and you're not perpendicular to that road. Trying to see traffic that is outside of the view of the right mirror, but, not yet into your field of view from the driver's seat. DW is helpful to "spot" that traffic. On the occasions she's not in her "assigned" seat, it's nice to switch the camera to wide angle view to get a view of that blind spot.
Like I said, I don't know if you have that capability on your '17. I mention this, because, if you end up buying cameras, it might be good to check if you can acquire that wide angle view capability.
Good luck.
Take care,
Stu

There is also Precision Paint in Bremen, IN, who at one time painted all Entegra Coaches with Sikkens paint. Not far from Middlebury. The camera cover would be a trivial job for them.

The camera would be plug and play on the Classics, they weren't painted. Since that option is out, Bamayboy, has the right idea, send it back to Entegra, they have a touch up paint person onsite with matching paints. It's still only a 5 minute job, clean up will take longer.
DIY would only be for convenience, Entegra has a paint person, no need to contract out to other shops for such a small job.

I you're going to Middlebury anyway, get Entegra to have a cover painted at S&S and install it when you're there. They owe you

Hi Stew,
I've reached out to Entegra Customer Service and am awaiting their reply.
That approach certainly appeals to me and it's more than a month until I'd be there to pick up the painted cover.
Take care,
Stu

Stu, just out of curiosity, why is Entegra's on site paint shop being not considered? They did some touch up work in my coach and you can't even see it. I am sure the turn around time would be almost instant.

Hi Chuck,
Mostly because I wasn't aware of that possibility. I'm new to the Entegra world; only been to their campus once for a quick tour. I've reached out to Bryan in CS and am awaiting reply.
If I had to guess, I'd guess the the cover will be painted by Entegra. My proposal to Bryan will be to ask if he can get one painted between now and early June. When I get there, I'll trade him my plain black one for his painted one. One screw and I'll be good to go.
Part of my challenge is getting used to having manufacturer support. My previous coach was a pre-bankruptcy Monaco. Kind of used to solving my problems alone.
Take care,
Stu

I guess post #21 was missed. I couldn't understand why outside shops were being suggested for a small item. I would have had it painted before the ink was dry on this post, but I have a cabinet full of spray equipment. Entegra's warranty dept is a good second choice.

I don’t know if it helps but Sikkens paint is widely used by BMW and Porsche. You could see if one of your local dealer body shops would mix the paint and do the touch up.
