Panquitch Lake Roads Utah

Has anyone ever taken I-15 to Cedar City Utah and then traveled up the hill to Panquitch Lake. That would be 14 out of Cedar City Utah to 148 to 143 up to Panquitch Lake.

Wondering about these 6% plus grades. Have driven it many times with our truck going fishing up there but never have taken the Anthem up or down those hills with or without a toad.

I took 14 from 89 to Cedar City about a week ago. No problem. They were doing some road work at the top of the summit. And they need more as you get closer to 89. I have a cummins 400hp ISL w/2 speed Jake Brake, 40' plus a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Thanks for the information on those roads.
