Passenger Seat issues

We’re returning from a 4000 mile trip and couldn’t be happier with our Entegra. It ran flawlessly in the mountains and a joy to drive. But yesterday 2 things happened and it’s probably a fuse I can’t find.

#1 the passenger power seat stoped working. No movement front to rear or foot rest.

#2 we had the dash heat on in Utah and had to switch to dash a/c in AZ. Now the dash a/c won’t operate. We’ve tried rebooting the computer but so far no luck.

Anybody else experience these issues? And how did you fix them?

Thanks

The seat issue could be the electrical plug under the seat as others have found. Our issue was a blown fuse in the basement compartment under the driver, forward of the wheel. I think you will find more posts discussing upgrading the fuse size.

Dave, regarding the dash air, is the compressor on the engine engaging, or is it not turning on at all? Can you hear the dash module switching from heat to A/C? I experience that issue and it was the compressor.

WRT the passenger chair, if all operations are "off", it is most likely a disconnect of the single power wire coming to the chair (I recently had same). I took the black and red wire pair out of the black coil cover below the seat and found that the red wire had pulled out of the connector. I replaced the crimp connector, using the appropriate crimping tool and a fresh in line connector (although you could use the twist variety connector, it would not fit back into the cover).

I am assuming that over a period of time, and numerous swivels over three years, that the connector "loosed". I wished the wires to the taillights of my F-150 would stay connected 1/10 of the amount of time:(

First thing I'd check for the seat is the fuses outside compartment under driver. Entegra raise the amperage for the seat fuses I think from 25 to 30 amp.

At the bottom of the panel of 3 AC switches are two green lights. The problem is that they are really push buttons. I know in our 17 we had accidently hit one of them and turned the AC off. I believe the other one is for recirculation of air in the cabin.

The Classics just have rotatory knobs. No push buttons, just simple stuff. Heck we don't even have Vega Touch

Sorry I haven't been on here the last 24 hours but we've been busy at the shows in Branson. I appreciate everyone's input and help.

I checked all the fuses by pulling each one out. Unfortunately I blew up my good "Snap On" 12 volt circuit tester by hitting 110 ac (note to self, the ceiling fan in bedroom is 110). I've checked under the seat and can't seem to find any loose connections so this project will wait until we get home later today.

As for the a/c, I'm not sure. The compressor is spinning. I have an appointment next week at the factory so I guess I'll hire them to fix this stuff too.

This has been a great trip and the longest we've been able to leave the company. We don't want to go back to the office but the wife is homesick from being away from our 3 adult sons and their families.

Thanks all
