Playstation/XBOX hookup.

We have 2 boys ages 7 and 10 and just finished our 12 day maiden voyage thru 6 states. The boys are begging for me to hook up a PS or Xbox for the long drives. I attempted and failed. Anyone accomplished this? We'd love to make them happy an also use the blueray for movies in the bedroom tv. Thanks

How are you doing it? You would need a small inverter plugged into a 12v outlet if your rig doesnt already come with one..

You will need a 115 volts a.c. source of power to the game consoles. Try to interconnect the game console and television with your cable ; either the red, white and yellow leads cable or another type of cable. That's all there is to the installation. Particular care must be taken to the way the game console is positioned while in the RV or it can overheat or be bumped and become defective.

Riscky, I guess I'm confused. Can't you just plug in the xbox or playstation? And the player should work in the bedroom. Are you saying you don't have 110v while going down the road? If so turn on the inverters. Gary

I have power. What's causing my frustration is correctly hooking up the PlayStation to the "Quest Video Control Center" that runs the 4 TV's throughout the coach. Thoughts?

If it were me, I would put an a/b switch on the component cables that are for the satellite receiver. That cable goes down into the cargo area and splits to all the TVs. You could then hook up anything with component connections, which will give you higher def. The Quest unit will always limit you to a coax cable connection.

Worked for us!

We too have have 2 boys---hooked up the PS3 without any problems in the back bedroom. We hooked up the white, red & black cable directly into TV from the PS3. Don't forget you have to change the input on the TV...

To use PS3 or XBox-360

I just plug the HDMI cable from either system into one of the tv inputs. For the BR tv, I swing it up and plug into HDMI 1 or 2, and for the LR tv, I use one of the side inputs (Rt side of Samsung tv). This inputs both video and sound and the sound then can be sensed and distributed by the Samsung home theater system, or you can just use the TV sound.
