Possible Roof Sealant Problem

Anyone been contacted by CS for them to come to your location ( home) to inspect your roof for possible sealant defects? Mine is a 2014 Anthem...Jacob with CS indicates they will fly Entegra employees in to inspect & if a problem they will repair at my home...That is STRONG customer support.

Ours is a 2013 and they are sending a tech to our house in AZ. Amazing customer service for sure.

Guess I'm going to have to go up on the roof and see what is was PJ and Ted Cook were doing down at Tampa. They said they were inspecting and redoing some sealant stuff.

Does anyone know what the issue was? I noticed on my 2013 Anthem that a small portion of the caulking is shinny and cracking very badly. The rest of the caulking is flat black and very smooth. We're just out of warranty and PJ told me it was a maintenance item.

I am a firm believer in Eternabond tape to end roof seam maintenance. http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/radi...on-181368.html

Another post on installing Eternabond. http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/eternabond-193452.html

The problem on some 13s was short screws. I think Entegra found all of the ones in that run and checked/fixed them. It did not involve the sealant. All JMHO 🚌🚓

Thanks, the factory told us they did the roof inspection when we were there last year but they never said what it was. I will try the Eternabond tape.

The one time cost of the Eternabond is about what a dealer will charge every year to reseal the roof seams. I think you will be pleased with the results. It is one of those "set it and forget it" tasks.
