How much $$ are the battery replacements every year?
|
HERE is what I buy and replace them every two years even if not needed.
Fresh batteries and reliability is far more important to me than false or no readings while on the road, $8 is cheap insurance.

I've had PressurePro for several years and am happy with it.

Important thing is to have one. Just worked with TST yesterday on some self-inflicted issues. Their service is top-notch - kind of like Entegra's.
Not trying to promote one over the other - just adding a data point about TST customer service

The last set I had ordered were under $8. The price varies when purchasing on Amazon.

Where is the best location in a Entegra for the TST repeater. I know towards the back of the coach, but would like to know where others have put it.

Used to be a Pressure Pro distributor/dealer. When I needed new sensors I bought a TST 507 system.
Now have the SmarTire system on the present rig. May use the TST system when the internal SmarTire units quit.

The best location is the back closet on the ceiling. For power tap into the closet light.

Same here - easy to tap into the wires. I would include a small plug or switch so you can unplug it or turn it off when parked. I just take out the in line fuse. I had another less expensive unit, and the TST unit has not missed a beat. I got flow Thru sensors for the MH, and the standard sensor for the jeep, all with replaceable batteries.

We use the EzTire and put the repeater in the back closet of our 44B. It works well and we taped into the closet light.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. I have used the TST 507 on two MHs, but never on the toad. Thought it was time to put them on my truck also because sometimes I can't tell I'm pulling it.
