Progressive EMS -LCHW50
Received the progressive unit today. Took it out to the RV to line it up where I thought I wanted to install it. Man is it a tight fit between the wall and the cord reel. I can barley see the LED read out. Anybody have suggestions or ideas on where to mount this unit on 2014 Anthem RBQ?

I know you don't want to hear this but someone else will say it. Should have the the one with the remote display. I almost ordered the same one, glad I didn't. Can you return it without a restocking fee?
Chuck

Hey, I installed mine under the bed in between the breaker box and the power distribution input. In this fashion, it's also in front of my genset and batteries.

and we do have the one with the remote display, mounted it to the side of the bed. We never look at it, but we know it's there However, in the event of some failure, we can at least tell what that failure is.

Yup. Re-ordered the one with the monitor. I plan on putting it behind the reel just in case I have to get to it.

You did the right thing on reordered the remote unit. I looked at Wineman's installed HW 50 and it is an easy install. They located the remote monitor just below the reel switch, a perfect place to see it while plugging in.
They removed the hose reel, removed the wire from the hose reel that runs to the transfer switch and installed that to the HW 50. Then a piece on #6 black romex from the HW 50 to the side of the hose reel, bolt the hose reel back into place. Looks like a simple install on the Entegra. I will do mine as soon as I get home.
The HW 50 fit perfect under the transfer switch and looks like it was factory installed.

I raised the box that holds the receptacle, cable connection and phone plug so the EMS would be accessible. Steve.

Just unscrew the 3 receptacles and look through their holes and you will see the screws that hold the bow to the wall. Raise it as high as it will go and reattach. Steve
