Thank you for the kind words dd. The shopping continues, I was shopping for a new tool box yesterday... that goes on the Santa list I wish I knew what size the first compartment is on the basement passenger side? The buyer hasn't picked up the TS yet, 2 more weeks and he starts getting charged winter storage rates I hope he doesn't call asking me to winterize it for his trip home... that could get real expensive.

Just arrived @ home, unloaded the coach. Tomorrow the coach will get a thorough cleaning. Brobox, that first compartment on the curbside of the Aspire is 24 1/2 x 24 1/2, I would assume the same on Anthem. Our coach is 42 DEQ, 2013...those Canadian guys better hurry.. LOL..dd.

THANK YOU! for those measurements. I would have given Santa the wrong tool box size for that compartment.

I was looking 26 inch 4 drawer tool boxes, but Home Depot did have a 20 inch 3 drawer that will fit.

Brobox, I took another look @ the compartment, I believe a 26" box would fit. Slide the box in length ways, then turn it so the front of the box is facing out. The opening is 24 1/2" but you have another 2" of wiggle room inside. Tell Santa to keep that receipt for a return on the 26" box if it doesn't work, but I think it will fit nicely..I'm excited for the two of you.. Happy trails..dd

Thanks, wmpbauer. You and many others have made some impressive modifications to your respective coaches. I'm not very handy when it comes to projects. However, some of the mods. look like they might be fun to attempt.. Safe travels..dd..

wmpbauer's basement shelf mod is ingenious and really simple to make. I put a practice one together on the TS and have probably kicked myself a 100 times for not being smart enough to figure that one out after cussing chair storage for 10 years. Thanks Pat!! http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/tell...ml#post1512688
