The DW pointed out that I failed to mention Don Boettcher (none other than our own "757Driver" from this forum who was also a central part of the parking committee and anchored one end of our non-genturi column, and spent a couple of weeks on "our turf" measuring out the available space and doing initial calculations on how the heck we were going to sandwich everyone "in". THANK YOU DON.... Immense help. You da man!

That stinks about the weather, most travel quite far for this and in hopes of getting better weather than there prior 10-20. Oh well, sounds like you guys made the best of it in the manor you were given. It is always about the people in the end anyways.

I still have Quartzsite on my winter to visit list. Thanks for the updates and images too!

As soon as the gathering was over, the weather straightened up and the forecast is for low 80's early next week for daytime highs. Very little wind for the last several days also. This is for Yuma,Az, about 75 miles south of Quartzite.

Great to meet you in the flesh! Yes it's amazing how we are getting the great weather but after Q was over...... Darn.

I assume you will be able to convince your better-half that a week in the SW desert is enough fun to get her to come next year!

I just met an 83 year old widow driving a 30 something class C Forrest River and her toad and been doing it since her husband died....... wow, hope I'm still able to drive this rig safely at 83. Anyhow, nice to get to know you. 'Til next time.

Indeed, a big thanks to Gary and Dee for organizing this. This was our maiden trip in our coach after finally selling our home. We learnt a lot and made a lot of new friends. Thanks to all that helped us immensely!

All coaches have finally headed out of Quartzsite today.

Natalie and I were the last to leave Quartzsite yesterday afternoon. Arwinder and Susan pulled out an hour before us. The weather was perfect the last few days. Natalie and I want to say thanks to Gary and Dee for once again organizing and managing the Quartzsite event. You guys did a great job. Too bad you had to leave to go get a new radiator. Let's hope this third radiator is the charm. Safe travels everyone.
