THANK YOU for posting that drone video of our Entegra @ Quartzsite Gathering. Wonderful video. Great to see. We will be doing it again this January and the formal announcement will be in about a month. That was the year that our initial drone pilot forgot to record his video and we had nothing on our Gathering so this is a nice addition!!!

I hate to say this, but did we meet when you shot that video.... I try to meet everyone but sometimes it gets pretty hectic and may miss people. If we met and I forgot, I am very sorry... I'll blame it on my advancing age. Also, as you panned counterclockwise from your take-off spot at the beginning, you can see the Monaco gathering on the other side of the Arizona "wash" (we're bigger ... )

Again, thanks for posting that great video.

Lots of rigs, no awnings. Does it get that windy?

Tony

Yes, there is typically a good (to strong) breeze in that part of Arizona at that time of year. That year, 2017, it was not only very windy but also quite cool compared to the first year. AquaHots running every night to stay warm. That year, awnings out would have been a needless risk.

Gatherers tend to not do a lot of sitting out beside the coach..... people are more often talking in groups or out by the bonfire.

Also, to keep people in close proximity to facilitate congregating, we have to park coaches close

Wow, you wouldnt want to have a few too many and have to find your way home in the dark. It might take you a while to find YOUR coach.

Virtually everything there was either a 42' or 45' Entegra coach built from 2014 to 2017. Like looking at a bunch of Irish Setters in a park, you have to look at slight color differences to find your pooch.... The roofs and air conditioners and vents ARE all the same color and position, the paint jobs differ..... you have to see them from ground level to find your "pooch".

Impressive! Can't wait to meet everyone in 2019, which will be our first big trip in the rig.

Nah, you just walk up to the nearest coach. Either it's yours, or someone will offer you a beer....

I just walked around with my entry key fob and kept pushing the unlock button until I saw the door awning and porch lights come ON. Then I knew I had the right coach............I think!
