Question to Progressive EMS

I have a dumb question to ask, but was told by a wise man years ago there were no dumb questions so here goes.

I have a pedestal style progressive 50 AMP EMS not hard wired in. If I were to plug into a 30 AMP pedestal then using a converter 30 -> 50 amp plug in the Progressive EMS the the coach to that will it still do it's job of protecting the coach?

Yes. You're not alone as this has been asked many times and as you stated , there are no dumb questions.
