Radiator Problem Continues In 2016

I have a 2016 Aspire RBQ. While getting my starter replaced, at !5,000 miles (what kind of cheap starter self-destructs at 15,000 miles) the mechanic showed me where my radiator was leaking. So, the radiator problems did not end in 2015. I picked up my Aspire on Jan 8, 2016. Just one more problem Entegra gave me in exchange for $300,000. I sure hope my dollars weren't as screwed up as my coach.

I feel your pain, and hope you know you have Spartan to thank for BOTH of those issues.

The new radiators did not ship until Nov 2015. If you took delivery Jan 8, 2016 your chassis was already manufactured and at Entegra before the new radiators were ready for shipment. Hate to say it, but you have the same old radiator that many of us had.

You are still in warranty. Call Spartan and they will take care of you.

I also feel your pain. .
I pack an extra gal of anti-freeze awaiting my turn. 2016 with 10k miles, chassis built in 3/2015. I've come to this conclusion if I had my EC "Druthers." 1, I'd druther not have a Spartan radiator. 2, I'd druther not have a Girade awning. 3, I'd druther not have an Aqua-Hot furnace/water heater. I base this on an enjoyable 30 years of previously owned motor homes. Other than that all is well and it's still a keeper but it better start behaving.

PS, Holly Cow! Oh! I almost forgot about the macerator hose.

It's always there to remind you. Pumps the tank empty in 60 seconds and takes hours to drain. Wish Entegra would fix this problem, also.

I have been trying to think of a solution for several months to the slinky hose (2013-2014, for Cornerstones, and 2015 for all others), the infamous Thetford 2:1 hose that showed up in Cornerstones 2015, now macerator hoses. Then there are those black tanks and grey tanks that require one of the solutions to empty and hope you don't overflow, because the SeeLevel sensors don't work. And add in the Aria II Delux toilet that doesn't put out enough water and the macerator toilet that sounds like a C-5 Galaxy taking off.

I finally found it...I'm going to either stop eating or, when available, eat and use the high quality, clean toilets and two hole outhouses in the state and federal parks, and the immaculate clean toilets in truck stops and restaurants.
