Mine is in the shop right now getting a new radiator at NIRVC Lewisville. Luckily, I was just under my 3 year Spartan warranty and they covered it. Like one responder said, no more checking the sight-glass level every time I stop!

Coachman

Nice you got it resolved, but you never said what the problem was. Can you fill us in more fully?

Don't be to quick on that , mine burped air for probably 2,000 miles. They gave me a gallon of coolant telling me to watch it.

A forum member had the radiator changed just before Hilton Head. On the way home from Hilton Head the radiator started leaking due to an incorrect installation, they had to be towed. Good thing they kept an eye on the new radiator.

Let’s hope that will be the fix, and most likely is.

Thanks, Chuck! I will keep an eye on it for a while after the repair. Hopefully, picking up the coach today with a new radiator.

Picked up the coach with a new radiator. You were right, Chuck, had to top off the radiator with coolant even before I left the dealership! I will keep a close eye on it in the coming months.

Pretty sad that you have to top off a radiator after having it replaced. Tells me that they never ran it long enough to purge all the air out and test for leaks. I sure hope you mentioned this to Steve, service manager, prior to leaving.

Had our radiator done over 3K miles ago and I haven’t had to add one drop of coolant.
