Appreciate all the good input! I've really come to rely on this forum. We are awaiting delivery, trying to be patient... Until then living vicariously, K
P.S. I have an RM 7710 available cheap if anyone's interested.

I have found that if you select the compare routes it gives you 2 choices for the route. Like with any GPS it's always good to double check.

Just got the 2015 cornerstone and used the gps on the way home from orlando with no problem.. All of a sudden today when the gps loads I am getting errors such as Navi.exe encountered a serious error and must shut down, or naviapp.exe encountered a serious error and must shut down.. I can't get it to boot up.. This happen once at the dealership and they replaced the sd card and it worked all the way home.. and now all of a sudden I'm getting the same errors.

I downloaded the dock to try and run the error program but you have to have the whole gps attached it doesn't take into consideration the unit that is installed on board.. I'm thinking I need to find someone that can give me another copy or wait until monday to call rand or entegra.. anyone else have this problem??

Have you tried updating the SD card in your computer? RM website recognized my card in my SD card reader and did all the updates, no more problems.

Same here. I tried the download at an RV park with slow WIFI, and it failed twice. Got home to my high speed download, took about 2 minutes, worked perfect. There was a memory limit that my receiver could handle, so I deleted the stuff I didn't need from the updates (seems like Europe, etc. was part of it). (2013 model - maybe the new ones have larger memory capacity).

If you flip open the display, it is located on the bottom edge.

The dock program does not need to be connected to the GPS head unit, it only has to be run from a computer with the SD card accessible.

You should be able to put the SD card in your computer and that is all the dock program needs. It thinks the GPS is hooked up.

We had a similar issue with our RM and the card update fixed the problem.

Mine took off by its self when installed the SD card in my computer and signed on to "register my product". It took off with all the updates and current maps loads.

On my Mac the RM Dock program would not read the SD card when I plugged into the SD slot. I had to put the SD card in a USB adapter and plug into a USB port. It took off on it's own when I did that.
